We are seeking a talented lawyer to join our Canberra Public Law team, providing high-quality legal advisory services across Australia.

Job Description
  • Drafting and Reviewing: Draft administrative decisions in various statutory schemes, review tribunal and court applications, and advise on Freedom of Information (FOI) and privacy issues.
  • Administrative Inquiries: Conduct administrative inquiries and provide recommendations to stakeholders.

Our ideal candidate will be a newly admitted lawyer with up to 3 years' experience, holding a baseline security clearance and full Australian working rights. Some Commonwealth experience is preferred.

Key Qualifications and Requirements
  • Recent admission to the bar (up to 3 years).
  • Baseline security clearance; full Australian working rights.
  • Preferred qualifications: some Commonwealth experience, strong analytical skills, and excellent communication abilities.
