
Cloud Solutions Business Development Manager

AWS Global Services is seeking a seasoned professional to join our team of technical experts. We help customers design, build, operate, and secure their cloud environments. Our expertise includes emerging technologies such as AWS Partners, AWS Sovereign Cloud, AWS International Product, and the Generative AI Innovation Center.
We are looking for an experienced Senior Account Manager to focus on Media, Entertainment, and Gaming in Australia. The ideal candidate is a self-starter capable of developing and executing a coverage plan and consistently delivering customer outcomes. You should possess both sales and deep technical expertise to engage with CXOs as well as software developers and IT architects.
The role requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication and presentation abilities, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Key responsibilities include:
- Drive adoption to meet or exceed targets
- Develop and execute a strategic plan to build and maintain a pipeline of value-based opportunities
- Create and articulate compelling value propositions around AWS
- Analyze account metrics to refine strategies
- Accelerate customer adoption through education and engagement
- Collaborate with partners to manage joint engagement opportunities
- Assist customers in identifying use cases for AWS adoption and best practices
- Develop long-term strategic relationships with key accounts

Qualifications- 7+ years of direct sales or business development experience in software, cloud, or SaaS markets, selling to C-level executives
- 10+ years in business development, partner development, sales, or alliances management
- 5+ years in building profitable partner ecosystems
- Experience developing detailed go-to-market plans
