Behaviour Support Practitioner Opportunity in Barwon Region

We are seeking experienced Behaviour Support Practitioners to join our team in the Barwon region, providing life-changing therapy to National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) participants. This is a full-time or part-time position with flexible working arrangements available.

About the Role:

  • Provide assessment and intervention services to support participants in achieving their goals and maximising their NDIS funding.
  • Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement Behaviour Support Plans with function-based strategies.
  • Conduct Functional Behaviour Assessments (FBAs) and contribute to complex behavioural challenges.
  • Tap into the knowledge and support of your Team Leader and dedicated Therapy Mentor.

Requirements:

  • Must be deemed as a Behaviour Support Practitioner by the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission.
  • Minimum 12 months experience as a Behaviour Support Practitioner.
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Social Work, Nursing, Psychology, or related field.
  • A valid Australian driver's license and NDIS Workers Screening Check and Working with Childrens Check.

The estimated annual salary for this role is $85,000 - $110,000 AUD, depending on experience and qualifications.
