Job Description

The Complex Care Team provides services and supports to individuals in need of care. This role involves leading a team of support workers to deliver high-quality care that prioritizes choice, control, and trauma-informed practice.

This position works within a strength-based model of care, providing safety and support to clients while identifying and addressing growth needs.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading a team of support workers to provide customer-centered care.
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Providing coaching, mentoring, and supervision to ensure staff are equipped to deliver high-quality care.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Tertiary qualification in a related field (highly regarded).
  • Minimum 2 years industry experience in an equivalent role.
  • Strong interest in mental health and the disability sector.
  • Understanding of trauma-informed practice framework.
  • Previous experience in residential therapeutic care and complex trauma (highly regarded).
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Ability to use computers and learn various software/programs.
  • Smart phone.
  • Current driver's license.
