About the Role

Randstad is seeking a highly experienced Electrical Project Engineer to join our client's team in Parramatta, NSW. Our client is a well-established NSW Government statutory corporation responsible for supplying the state's bulk water needs, operating the state's river systems and dams, and the bulk water supply system for Greater Sydney.

The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor degree or higher in electrical engineering, extensive understanding of the water industry, knowledge of PMBOK or Prince 2 methodologies, and knowledge of regulatory requirements and standards including WHS as they relate to the design and delivery of engineering aspects of range of operation and capital projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and track project plans to ensure optimal quality, cost, and schedule are maintained in accordance with project delivery frameworks while prioritizing safety.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure technical specifications and scope of works are developed and communicated in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Apply quality assurance processes and develop tools and templates to ensure all outcomes of safety and condition audits, engineering studies, and asset identification works are delivered and documented in a standardized manner.
  • Produce and/or update drawings, operating and maintenance manuals, and other relevant artefacts in a timely manner and meet specifications or other requirements of the business.
  • Review and address recommendations produced by consultants in a timely manner, prioritizing safety risks.
  • Work collaboratively with budget owners, subject matter experts, and all internal and external stakeholders to ensure all teams are working cohesively toward the achievement of set strategic objectives and timeframes.

About You:

  • Proven experience and reliability in previous positions as an Electrical Project Engineer.
  • Ability to interpret, assess, and review engineering designs, studies, drawings, and other work methodologies to ensure compliance with standards and meet required objectives.
  • Current NSW Driver's License.
