Job Summary

We are seeking a Care Companion to join our team. As a Care Companion, you will be responsible for providing companionship and emotional support to our elderly clients.

  • Providing companionship and emotional support to our elderly clients;">
  • Assisting with daily living activities such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, and personal care;">
  • Travelling with client in your car and the confidence to work independently;">
  • Engaging in friendly conversations and meaningful interactions;">
  • Ensuring the safety and comfort of our clients;">
  • Reporting any changes or concerns to the supervisor;">

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Strong communication skills and a passion for engaging in friendly conversations;">
  • A caring and compassionate nature;">
  • The desire to make a positive impact on the lives of our elderly clients;">
  • Flexibility and the ability to work on a Permanent Part Time basis;">
  • A Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent qualification;">
  • Previous experience in home care is preferred but not essential;">
  • A current driver's licence and reliable car;">
  • Australian Work Authorisation.">

Working Conditions

This is a casual position working Monday to Friday 7am - 6pm with up to 25 hours per week required. You will be expected to be available between these hours, including occasional overtime if needed.
