Care Companion

Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate care companion to provide support to clients in the comfort of their own homes. The ideal candidate will be able to follow client care plans as instructed by registered nurses.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Assisting clients with personal hygiene, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
  2. Assisting clients with meal preparation.
  3. Providing companionship and emotional support.
  4. Driving clients to appointments and social activities.
  5. Cleaning the house, including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, laundry, bathrooms, etc.
  6. Monitoring and reporting changes in client's health and/or wellbeing and promptly reporting to RN.
  7. Accurately documenting services provided into the visual care app.
Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year experience in community care.
  • Dementia care experience (preferred).
  • Cert III in Aged Care.
  • First Aid and CPR certification.
  • Police check.
  • NDIS screen check.
  • Working with children check.
  • Driver's license and own car with comprehensive car insurance.
