We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as the Safety, Training and Wellbeing Manager. As a key member of our senior leadership team, you will play a critical role in driving our safety evolution and promoting a culture of care, trust, and inclusion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with the leadership team to develop and execute the safety, health, and wellbeing plan, ensuring a risk-based approach to identifying and controlling every day and critical risks.
  • Actively support and promote the Linfox safety evolution journey, focusing on strengthening our safety culture and embedding health and wellbeing practices.
  • Facilitate 4Ds and STKY sessions to encourage innovative and safe working practices, and provide direction and support for serious incident investigations.
  • Manage the safety system and auditing to ensure compliance with legislative and self-insurance requirements, and report on performance, trends, and outcomes.
  • Coach and develop the capability of the Safety, Health, and Wellbeing team, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a safety role within a dynamic, high-risk environment, with a strong understanding of risk management and compliance.
  • Excellent coaching and training skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience in building a strong team-based culture, with a focus on care, trust, and inclusion.
  • Knowledge of legislative responsibilities and the regulatory environment for WHS, with a keen interest in continuous learning and improvement.
  • Passion for health and wellbeing, with a genuine interest in promoting a culture of general health, nutrition, fitness, and fatigue management.
