Job Overview:
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for managing technical support issues on a regional basis
  • Share knowledge database and app-notes with customers to enable self-maintenance and improve customer satisfaction
  • Owning customer relationships with SEDG technology
  • Acting as lead on all technical matters with strategic accounts
  • Proactively developing customer service strategies to manage customer business objectives

Responsibilities:

  • Host weekly technical calls with customers to discuss project progress and provide guidance
  • Manage key projects requiring cross-functional discipline, ensuring seamless collaboration among teams
  • Directly escalate and act as focal point to Marketing, Sales, Support, HQ marketing, and HQ R&D teams
  • Ensure company resources deliver to customer requirements and follow through on commitments
  • Manage internal SE technical resources as needed
  • Contact customers for special issues and trends in customer territories
  • Ensure all levels within the customer account are trained on SolarEdge technology
  • Receive and translate customer suggestions for hardware or software feature changes
  • Analyze and act on quality trends from data produced by quality engineers
  • Presentation reports and trends to customer technical leads
  • Manage process for collection of quality data internally or presented to the customer
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of field technical service experience in the solar industry, with a strong understanding of technical service principles
  • Knowledge of the industry and experience managing accounts, with a proven track record of success
  • Ability to travel once every two months for a few days, with flexibility to adapt to changing business needs
  • Adaptability, smart problem-solving, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong verbal communication skills, including effective cross-functional communication habits
  • Demonstrated ability to interface with strategic customers and contacts at an executive and staff level
  • Proven ability to deliver high-level customer service and strong technical aptitude
  • Excellent report-writing and data analytical skills
  • Strong project management skills
  • Familiarity with working with large data sets and CRM tools
