About the Role

We are seeking an experienced IOL Portfolio Manager to join our team at AU21 Alcon Laboratories (Australia) Pty Ltd Company. As an IOL Portfolio Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the overall IOL portfolio, showcasing expertise in our products' benefits and differentiating vs. competitive products by providing high technical consultancy in assigned accounts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Driving total IOL revenue and market share in the territory
  • Accelerating PCIOL penetration
  • Facilitating the Accelerator program in selected accounts
  • Managing tender requirements working with internal teams
  • Working with Customer Operations on consignment, leveraging MyAlcon360
  • Developing new business with customers to achieve sales targets
  • Maintaining and optimizing existing relationships and managing business with existing key customers
  • Providing feedback on competitor activities in the field via line management
  • Maintaining and upholding an excellent company image

Requirements

  • Deep knowledge of all IOLs. Ability to detail the full portfolio of IOL products. Ability to competitively position Clareon vs. modified/advanced monofocals
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, both technical and interpersonal
  • Customer oriented mindset and strong customer relationship management
  • Flexibility, motivation, self-confidence, resilience, goal orientated mindset with a strong sense of drive
  • Strong logical and analytical skills to solve problems, ability to work independently and be proactive
  • Experience with CRM applications (such as Salesforce) to manage relationships, complete account and call planning is desired

Education and Experience

  • Tertiary qualifications in optometry, orthoptics, science or business
  • 2-3 years of experience in customer facing roles within surgical environment or other industries
