Job Title: Production Planning Clerk

A production planning clerk plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of projects. Their primary responsibilities include project closure and providing administrative support to production planners.

  • Assist with project close out.
  • Collaborate with production planners to maintain accurate work orders.
  • Extract planned orders from management resource planning systems, verify product specifications, and issue work orders as needed.
  • Analyze metrics such as types and quantities of items produced, materials used, and amount of scrap or defects.
Key Job Skills:
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in PC applications such as Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with superiors, peers, and colleagues.
Education and Experience:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Relevant experience in data entry, clerical roles, manufacturing, inventory control, engineering, or technical fields.
