The strategic acquisition specialist role is an exceptional opportunity to be at the forefront of Australia's Land Systems Programs and play a pivotal part in shaping the future of Defence.
This position oversees the efficient procurement and delivery of materials, ensuring seamless movement from suppliers to customers. The successful candidate will apply advanced knowledge and industry best practices to resolve complex challenges and drive continuous process improvements.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinates and processes the procurement and distribution of materials from suppliers.
- Distributes materials to customers with precision.
- Operates under general supervision.
- Solves intricate problems requiring in-depth knowledge of the field and industry best practices.
- Leverages experience and problem-solving skills to develop and enhance processes.
- May provide guidance to junior team members.
To excel in this role, you will bring current NV1 (or higher) AGSVA clearance, a degree in Business, Finance, Law or Supply Chain, or equivalent work experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.
Requirements:- A minimum of 5 years' experience.
- Proficiency in MS Office products, particularly Excel, SharePoint, Outlook and Word.
- Exceptional organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively and prioritise multiple tasks.
- A high level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A collaborative and team-oriented approach to work.
All candidates must hold and maintain an active NV1 Defence Security Clearance. Only candidates holding a NV1 Clearance or above should apply.
