Chief Technology Officer

We are seeking a visionary Chief Technology Officer to lead our technology strategy and drive innovation across the organization.

Job Description

This is a rare opportunity for an experienced CTO to join a forward-thinking organisation and contribute to its growth and success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define and execute the company's technology roadmap, ensuring alignment with business strategy and objectives.
  • Oversee and guide IT operations, software development, infrastructure, and vendor relationships.
  • Champion innovation through the adoption of emerging technologies and optimisation of existing systems.
  • Provide oversight on critical enterprise platforms including CRM, ERP, WMS, POS, HRIS, Finance, Payroll, and Cloud Infrastructure.
  • Evaluate robust risk management, governance, and security practices.
  • Build, develop, and mentor a high-performing technology team.
  • Report to the CEO and advisory board, presenting clear updates on project status, risks, opportunities, and performance.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and brand forums.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in information technology or a related field.
  • Proven executive or senior technology leadership experience, ideally reporting to a governance or risk board.
  • A strong background across enterprise systems such as CRM, ERP, PIM, WMS, POS, TMS, Payroll/Finance, HR Systems, LMS, Security, Middleware, Ecommerce, SQL Server, Azure, AWS, .NET Development.
  • Demonstrated success in project management, digital transformation, and vendor negotiations.
  • Experience overseeing mobile app development, Power BI dashboards, and reporting solutions.
  • A track record of fostering innovation, continuous improvement, and cultural change within a technology function.
  • Industry experience in retail or FMCG will be highly regarded.
