Summary

Our client, a highly respected full-service design firm, is seeking an Architect Level III to join their team in Charlotte, NC. This role offers an opportunity to lead technical execution, mentor junior staff, and oversee projects from concept to construction in a collaborative and purpose-driven studio environment. Requirements
  • Registered Architect (RA) required
  • 8+ years of professional experience in architecture
  • Strong proficiency in Revit; working knowledge of SketchUp, Enscape, Adobe Suite preferred
  • Expertise in construction documentation, detailing, and coordination
  • Strong understanding of building codes, ADA compliance, and technical standards
  • Ability to lead and mentor team members across disciplines and levels
  • Experience in public, education, or healthcare architecture preferred
  • Residency or willingness to relocate to Charlotte, NC
Responsibilities
  • Lead the production and coordination of design and construction documents
  • Manage collaboration with consultants, contractors, and clients
  • Conduct code research, quality control, and document reviews
  • Guide project planning, design execution, and documentation strategies
  • Oversee construction administration including RFIs, submittals, and punch lists
  • Represent the firm during meetings, presentations, and site visits
  • Mentor junior team members and ensure adherence to standards and project milestones
