We are seeking a skilled and compassionate professional to deliver recreation programs in healthcare settings. The ideal candidate will possess an undergraduate degree in Therapeutic Recreation, certification in the field, and experience in therapeutic recreation.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and implement comprehensive therapeutic recreation programs;
  • Conduct assessments and develop individual treatment plans with residents and their substitute decision-makers;
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to provide recreation therapy referrals and develop behavioral support plans for residents with complex concerns;
  • Collect and analyze data to guide strategies and evaluate program effectiveness;
About You

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • An undergraduate degree in Therapeutic Recreation;
  • Certification in the field of Therapeutic Recreation;
  • Minimum of one year of combined experience in delivering recreation programs in healthcare settings;
  • Basic Food Safety Training/Food Handlers Course;
  • Valid CPR and First Aid certification;
