Healthcare Support Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Healthcare Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Regional Services team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional healthcare services to our community.

Key responsibilities include specimen collection, courier runs, laboratory support, venepuncture, domiciliary visits, and transport of biological specimens.

As a Healthcare Support Specialist, you will work closely with laboratory, clinical, and administrative staff to ensure timely and accurate diagnostic testing, maintain laboratory equipment, manage data entry, and provide courteous reception and enquiry services to stakeholders.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will possess experience in pathology, specimen collection, or laboratory support; ability to perform venepuncture and handle biological samples safely; strong communication and computer skills; and a commitment to service excellence.

  • Working With Children Check (WWCC)
  • National Police Clearance (NPC)
  • Class C Driver's Licence
  • Compliance with immunisation policies
