Packaging Quality Role

Producing a much-loved beverage iconic to the region is crucial for success. XXXX, a flagship site, requires a quality-focused individual to deliver best in class manufacturing solutions.

This role will join our team at Milton on a permanent, full-time basis, reporting into the Packaging Quality Leader. As part of a small but critical team, you will govern quality standards and processes across the Packaging department, ensuring every product meets high consumer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support site performance achievement by driving a quality culture through coaching and building capability in production team members.
  • Manage critical quality processes such as equipment monitoring, troubleshooting, and chemical stock management.
  • Prepare and deliver detailed quality reports, trends, and risk analyses to inform decision-making.
  • Support packaging operations through analytical testing, validation activities, and documentation review.
  • Coordinate contractor compliance and contributing to supplier performance reviews.
  • Assist production teams by being a key part of New Product Development, along with changes to packaging and brewing specifications.
  • Lead and contribute to continuous improvement projects.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Science, Engineering, Chemistry, Food Technology or a related field.
  • Quality experience in the food or beverage industry, with a strong understanding of food industry standards and GMP/HACCP.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and coach others.
  • Great problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
  • A proactive, improvement-focused mindset with the confidence to initiate and drive improvement projects.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to thrive in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
