Raw Materials Specialist

We're looking for a seasoned professional to oversee our Raw Materials and Analytical Equipment Vendor Management systems with a focus on Packaging. As a key member of our team, you'll play a crucial role in supporting our Brewery operations.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Materials Quality Assurance: Own the process for raising SCARS, reviewing non-conformance reports, and handling return of credit notes.
  • Vendor Relationship Management: Build strong relationships and lead our Vendor assurance program with key material suppliers.
  • Inventory Management: Keep packaging material and product specifications up-to-date in our quality systems.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze data and trends to monitor material quality and performance, and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Troubleshooting: Manage and resolve packaging material issues to ensure we work with the best suppliers.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure analytical and lab equipment is properly maintained, calibrated, and ready for use.
  • Training and Coaching: Coach and guide production teams on equipment care and material handling to maintain smooth operations.
Requirements:
  • A strong understanding of manufacturing environments with adaptability.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills using root cause analysis techniques.
  • Some experience in packaging processes (primary, secondary, or tertiary).
