Job Summary:
As a Print Operator at Hero Packaging, you'll play a crucial role in bringing our eco-friendly packaging products to life. You'll be responsible for operating our printing equipment, ensuring our high-quality printed materials are produced efficiently and on schedule. You'll learn from and work with our Production Manager who will teach you our printing process.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Machine Prep:

- Prepare and set up printing equipment according to job specifications.
- Conduct routine maintenance to ensure continuous and optimal machine performance.

2. Material Handling:

- Feedproducts, including shipping mailers and boxes, into the printer.
- Monitor and replenish ink and other supplies as needed during production.
- Conduct routine printer cleaning processes.

3. Quality Control:

- Conduct regular quality checks.

4. Job Execution:

- Operate printing equipment, following established procedures.
- Adjust customer artwork as needed to set up for sample printing and production runs.
- Adjust settings as necessary to meet job specifications and maintain quality standards.

5. Record Keeping:

- Maintain accurate records of production runs.

6. Safety and Compliance:

- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

7. Collaboration:

- Work closely with other team members to coordinate workflow and meet production schedules.
- Communicate effectively with team members to report progress, challenges, and solutions.
- Ability to work calmly under pressure.

Qualifications:

- Experience as a Print Operator or experience in a similar role.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to perform quality checks.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Basic computer skills for machine setup and job tracking.
- Basic graphic design experience to adjust custom artwork as needed for each job.

Physical Requirements:

- Ability to lift and move heavy materials (up to 15kg).
- Stand for longer periods.
