About Senior Logistics Executive Role

This senior logistics executive role coordinates all aspects of inbound and outbound logistics. Responsibilities include ensuring timely receipt and processing of goods, managing finished goods dispatch, and maintaining weekly trackers to support planning and visibility.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Inbound Operations Management: Oversee the receipt and GR completion of goods from suppliers.
  • Outbound Operations Management: Manage the dispatch of finished goods to meet daily order fulfillment targets.
  • Vendor Relationship Management: Lead coordination with third-party logistics providers, conduct regular performance reviews, and issue reports for delivery failures.
  • Transportation Management: Validate transport documentation and ensure compliance with food safety and regulatory requirements.
  • Returns Management: Investigate product returns, refusals, and damages to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Reporting and Cost Control: Prepare and update logistics reports on a weekly basis, including freight cost analysis, GI accuracy checks, and freight invoice discrepancies.
Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in logistics or supply chain operations within FMCG or similar high-volume industry.
  • Proven experience in vendor relationship management and transportation compliance.
  • Strong understanding of inventory control and inbound/outbound processes.
  • Intermediate Excel skills and reporting capability.
  • Knowledge of transport documentation, POD, GI/GR processes, and customs procedures.
