Research Analyst Role

As a research analyst, you will contribute to the development of industry research and reports at a global market leader. This is an opportunity to develop analytical and economic skills in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Produce high-quality industry reports within specified deadlines, adhering to editorial standards.
  • Collect, interpret, and analyze data to identify key business trends.
  • Conduct long-term forecasting based on existing industry data.
  • Perform qualitative research and stay up-to-date with key economic and industry trends.
  • Deliver client presentations and gain public speaking experience.
  • Contribute to product development initiatives.
  • Communicate industry insights to relevant stakeholders as required.
  • Collaborate with a supportive team and report to the Head of Research.
About You
  • Possess an undergraduate degree in economics, commerce, or a related field.
  • Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrate ability to analyze and forecast economic data.
  • Be familiar with online research techniques.
  • Have a solid grasp of economics, financial terms, and business concepts.
  • Display a strong work ethic and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Be interested in keeping up-to-date with economic news and current events.
  • Embrace constructive feedback and be eager to learn and grow in the role.
  • Confidently liaise with media regarding current industry trends.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Experience writing business research articles is an advantage.
