Job Opportunity: Business Intelligence Specialist

Our organization is seeking a skilled Business Intelligence Specialist to join our data analytics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions that support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop reports, dashboards, and data visualizations using various BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, SSRS).
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze reporting requirements.
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications and data models.
  • Write complex SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze data from various sources.
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity in all reporting outputs.
  • Optimize and troubleshoot existing reports and dashboards for performance improvements.
  • Maintain documentation for report logic, data sources, and business rules.
  • Support data governance and quality initiatives.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of data warehouses or data marts as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Business Intelligence domain.
  • Experience in designing and implementing one or more BI toolsets such as QlikView, Tableau, SAS Analytics, Microsoft Power BI, or Datazen.
  • Experience working with data connections from both source systems and static data sources.
  • Ability to deliver presentation layers, including graphs, charts, maps, and drill-down reports.
  • Experience collaborating with end users in an iterative environment to create deliverables and train users for self-service with BI tools.
  • Experience in unit testing, primarily using automation.
  • Skilled in preparing technical documentation, including Technical Design Documents, Data Models, and Data Dictionaries.
  • Experience using Azure DevOps release pipelines.
