Support Nurse for Neonatal Care

The role of a Support Nurse in the Neonatal unit involves providing optimal support to staff and learners. This clinical-based position plays a crucial part in ensuring that staff skills are aligned with the strategic plans of the service.

This is an opportunity for an experienced Nurse with postgraduate NICU qualifications and current experience in NICU in a tertiary centre. The successful candidate will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling them to build collaborative working relationships with diverse stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist Graduate/post graduate learners in the Neonatal space
  • Collaborate to facilitate NeoResus and ABLS competency in the NICU
  • Work collaboratively to provide optimal NICU staff skills in alignment with the service's strategic plans
