Job Summary

A leading construction firm is seeking an experienced Senior Construction Site Manager to oversee a diverse range of commercial projects. This role involves coordinating trades, ensuring quality and safety outcomes, and maintaining the company's strong reputation.

The ideal candidate will have experience in finishes, with a hands-on approach and a strong trade background. They will be responsible for:

  • Conducting site inspections to ensure quality and safety outcomes;
  • Coordinating trades onsite to meet project deadlines;
  • Working closely with site managers to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to a high standard;
  • Maintaining relationships between various trades and ensuring subcontractors work safely and efficiently;
  • Maintaining the company's strong reputation at all times.

About You - Skills and Qualifications

  • 3+ years' experience in a similar role in class 2 – 9 construction as defined under the building codes of Australia (BCA);
  • Relevant trade background and competencies;
  • Open Builders Supervision license issued by QBCC;
  • Excellent communication skills – both oral and written;
  • Willingness to lead and motivate team members;
  • A person who is enthusiastic, self-motivated, and quality-driven;
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment;
  • Commitment to meeting time and financial goals;
  • Good computer/mobility device skills for daily use of programs and apps.
