Sustainable Waste Management Technician

About the Role:
">We are seeking a highly skilled Sustainable Waste Management Technician to join our team in Ballarat, Victoria.
In this role, you will be responsible for the effective use and operation of vehicles and equipment while providing quality customer service and maintaining an excellent working relationship with clients.
Key responsibilities include performing drain cleaning, non-destructive digging, and stormwater asset cleaning tasks, as well as daily pre-start and maintenance of vehicles and equipment to ensure compliance and good working condition.
A key aspect of this role is promoting a safe work environment by following proper safety protocols and using appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
You will also complete projects as directed, demonstrating your ability to deal with diverse people effectively and provide exceptional customer service.
Maintaining high standards of work and striving for continuous improvement of the quality of services provided is essential for success in this position.
Additional requirements include holding a current HR licence, valid White Card, and experience with high pressure water operations. Experience with vacuum loading, drain cleaning, hydro excavation, or working around sewer/water networks is highly desirable.

">About You:
">To succeed in this role, you will need to possess strong communication skills, be able to work safely on construction and civil sites, and demonstrate a focus on customer service and teamwork.
Confined Space and Working at Heights Tickets are preferred but not essential, and previous waste industry experience will be highly regarded.
Able to pass a pre-employment medical check and hold a national Police clearance, you will be a valuable addition to our team.
