About The Role
We're looking for a commercially savvy Key Account Manager to take ownership of our council customer relationships and lead the tender process from start to finish. In this role, you'll manage a portfolio of existing contracts, develop tailored solutions, and ensure we remain the partner of choice for our clients.
What You'll Do
- Lead the tender process: Write and respond to tenders with clear, persuasive, and commercially sound documentation.
- Manage key relationships: Oversee a portfolio of council contracts, ensuring exceptional service and contract performance.
- Influence and engage: Deliver impactful presentations to senior stakeholders and customers, collaborating with internal teams such as pricing and operations.
- Collaborate for results: Work closely across the business to align solutions with customer needs and drive mutual success.
- Relationship builder: Experienced in managing long-term customer partnerships.
- Tender expertise: Skilled in crafting and responding to tenders with accuracy and clarity.
- Proven success: Track record of managing major accounts and securing high-value contracts.
- Strategic mindset: Strong analytical skills with the ability to navigate complex pricing structures.
- Clear communicator: Confident in influencing decision-makers at all levels.
