Lead the Kitchen Team as a Head Chef

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Head Chef to lead our kitchen team in Newcastle. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for managing all kitchen operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service, and delivering exceptional food quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage kitchen operations, including menu planning, inventory management, and staff supervision.
  • Develop and implement innovative menu concepts that reflect our commitment to quality and sustainability.
  • Maintain high standards of food preparation and presentation, ensuring consistency and quality across all dishes.
  • Oversee inventory management, including ordering and stock control, to minimize waste and optimize resources.
  • Cultivate a positive and collaborative team environment, fostering open communication and a culture of excellence.
  • Uphold health and safety regulations within the kitchen, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment for all staff.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a head chef role within a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven ability to lead a team, manage kitchen operations, and deliver exceptional service.
  • A strong passion for food and culinary excellence, with a commitment to quality and sustainability.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • A positive attitude and the ability to thrive under pressure, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
