We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Casual Chef. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional food experiences to our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with senior chefs to maintain high food standards and meet guest expectations.
  • Demonstrate expertise in preparation and cooking techniques, ensuring dishes are presented to the highest standard.
  • Monitor and maintain the quality of dishes throughout preparation and presentation.
  • Work closely with the team to ensure seamless kitchen operations and adhere to guidance and direction.
  • Follow established guidelines for food safety and handling, ensuring a safe working environment.
  • Contribute to kitchen presentation and operations, including maintenance, mise en place, and service.
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to Work Health & Safety procedures.
Requirements
  • Trade cooking qualifications are essential.
  • Experience in a commercial cookery environment, with experience in functions is desirable.
  • A respectful and professional approach to work and teamwork.
  • A passion for food and a desire to learn and grow.
  • Ability to adapt, show resilience, and maintain high standards under pressure.
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
  • Care and competence in maintaining high standards, even under pressure.
  • Physical fitness to perform role-related tasks, including working on your feet, heavy lifting, and movement of goods.
  • A commitment to safe work practices and maintaining a safe work environment.
  • Flexible availability, with mostly night work from 2pm-10pm, though may include lunch & breakfast service at times.
