Our mission is to empower athletes to achieve their full potential. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as Senior Athlete Wellbeing and Engagement Advisor.

Job Title: Senior Athlete Wellbeing and Engagement Advisor

This role involves working closely with categorised athletes and para athletes to develop the life skills and resilience needed for sustained success. You will guide them through critical transitions into, within, and beyond high-performance sport, promoting a culture that values wellbeing alongside performance.

  • We provide a supportive environment where athletes can thrive, grow, and reach their goals.
  • You will work collaboratively with the Psychology & Wellbeing Lead to deliver operational priorities across wellbeing services, design and deliver projects that benefit the wellbeing of athletes, and maintain high standards of professional practice.

About This Role:

  • A relevant undergraduate qualification or equivalent industry certifications in education, career development, social work, counselling, financial planning, or sports management.
  • At least 5 years' experience in developing and implementing athlete-focused personal development, education, and career interventions.
  • Familiarity with contemporary issues affecting athlete wellbeing in Australia's high-performance sport system, with the ability to develop and deliver programs addressing these concerns.
  • Knowledge of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and its application in supporting athlete goals.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, enabling effective teamwork in interdisciplinary settings.
  • Proven track record of delivering results under pressure, setting high standards, and taking responsibility for tasks.
