Key Responsibilities:- Client Consultation: Engage with internal stakeholders to understand their data needs and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Solution & Data Architecture: Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable data pipelines and architectures, ensuring data integrity and accessibility.
- Data Analytics: Support data analysis initiatives, providing clean, reliable data for reporting and insights.
- Data Governance: Advocate for and implement best practices in data governance, ensuring data quality, security, and compliance.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate effectively with various teams, communicating technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify opportunities to enhance our data platforms and processes, contributing to a culture of ongoing innovation.
What You'll Bring:
- Proven experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
- Strong expertise in designing, building, and optimizing data pipelines and data warehouses.
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake for cloud data warehousing.
- Proficiency in data integration and ETL/ELT tools, with specific experience using Matillion highly regarded.
- Experience with data visualization and reporting tools, particularly Power BI.
- A solid understanding of data governance principles and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a curious mindset, always seeking innovative solutions.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- A passion for continuous learning and improvement in the data landscape.
