Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our high-performing team responsible for maintenance and repair of plant and equipment.

This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside a skilled team to learn the ins and outs of automated systems, with the chance to develop your skills in PLCs and automation.

As an ideal candidate, you will possess a strong background in manufacturing process experience, along with a willingness to learn and grow in this area.

The successful applicant will be required to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, maintaining the required safety standards while delivering exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prioritize activities efficiently, responding to breakdowns and undertaking preventative maintenance tasks.
  • Install wire and conduit for newly installed and existing equipment such as conveyors, programmable controllers, converting and corrugating machinery.
  • Replace faulty electrical components of machines like relays, switches & motors, position sensing devices such as proximity switch timers, scanners, and photo electric devices.
  • Diagnose and repair/replace faulty electronic components to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and implement changes to enhance operational efficiency.
Requirements
  • A full Electrical license with relevant industry experience.
  • Strong communication and reporting skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
  • Self-motivated individual with a strong work ethic and commitment to achieving goals.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines, while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
