About the Role

The primary objective of this position is to enhance the men's health evidence base at Movember, focusing on reporting outcomes across its programs portfolio.

This role contributes to developing strong foundations for monitoring, research & evaluation (MRE) within the organization, supporting its Impact Strategy.

Key responsibilities include providing intelligence to inform business decisions by analyzing current and future population trends and the impacts made on men.

A key aspect of this role is as a data translator and relationship builder with internal and external partners, enabling Movember to be a thought leader in men's health across the broader community.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Sourcing, monitoring, synthesizing, interpreting, and presenting health status data of populations or determinants of disease impacting populations within Movember's geographical regions.
  • Ensuring complex information is translated into a format accessible by different functional areas of the organization.
  • Critically analyzing population-level health data to address hypotheses and research questions related to Movember's cause areas across its geographical regions.
  • Reviewing and sourcing measures to develop an Outcomes Framework aligning with the Impact Strategy, including establishment of suitable benchmarks and targets.
  • Managing the maintenance and expansion of the MoStats tool with epidemiological data and added functionalities in response to business needs.
  • Collaborating with Programs teams to report Movember's impact in a format and voice suitable to a range of target groups.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Tertiary qualifications (Masters or PhD preferred) in Epidemiology, Public Health, Psychology, Statistics, or a related discipline.
  • Experience in public health, health promotion, applied epidemiology, biostatistics, health research, and/or evaluation, implementation science, or a related discipline.
  • Experience in public health data monitoring and analysis across at least one of Movember's core markets.
  • Experience in quantitative research methods.
  • Excellent time management and project planning skills.
