Business Intelligence Developer Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence Developer to join our organization. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in designing and implementing reliable, scalable, and performant data intelligence solutions.

  • You will be responsible for creating and maintaining ELT pipelines for data warehouses to ingest and transform data for batch and real-time workloads.
  • Evaluating the accuracy of reporting used for financial statements in collaboration with the finance team.
  • Designing and managing a robust reporting framework with visualization and dashboards for business users.
  • Understanding and interpreting business requirements in the context of Power BI and developing data models to transform raw data into actionable insights.
  • Contributing to the design, implementation, and support of Business Intelligence capabilities.
  • Maintaining and developing reporting in the Microsoft BI Stack to provide data to end users.
  • Delivering production-ready code when working on data pipeline manifests and DSLs.
  • Crafting optimized and complex SQL queries, functions, and stored procedures for ETL, data mining, and reporting.
  • Developing Business Intelligence solutions in the Microsoft Business Intelligence stack.
  • Fostering cloud-first architecture principles to maximize flexibility and minimize infrastructure costs.
  • Utilizing Power BI and executing DAX queries and functions.

A successful Business Intelligence Developer will have:

  • Strong knowledge of SDLC and familiarity with agile methodologies.
  • Prior experience in Business Intelligence and data engineering.
  • Expertise in Business Intelligence development and experience with Microsoft BI Tools: SQL, SSRS, SSIS, SSAS, Power BI & SQL Server.
  • Solid understanding of Data Warehousing methodologies.
  • The ability to present data and insights in a clear and digestible format for all stakeholders.
  • The capacity to work in complex financial domain environments.
