Job Title

Seeking a visionary academic leader to drive disciplinary leadership in Information Technology and Systems (ITS). This role will involve providing strategic direction, developing curriculum, and fostering a culture of innovation and quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing academic leadership and expertise in the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of ITS courses.
  • Leading the development of new undergraduate and postgraduate courses, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities and market demand.
  • Overseeing academic operations, including study plans, timetables, staffing, and academic integrity across all delivery modes and locations.
  • Mentoring academic staff, fostering contemporary teaching practices, and embedding scholarly and pedagogical development into curriculum delivery.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a senior leadership role preferably in Australia.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide leadership, management, and collaboration while building strong teams, managing resources, and coordinating functions.
  • AQF 10 (doctoral) qualification or equivalent blend of qualification and experience. A teaching qualification is also desirable.
  • Highly developed interpersonal communication skills and the ability to engage and manage staff and students in the delivery of high-quality education programs.
