We focus on building strong client relationships and delivering quality, timely services to government, not-for-profit organizations, and private sector clients. Our expertise spans a broad range of projects throughout NSW, including education, residential, commercial, industrial, and public infrastructure.
Your Role
- Conduct due diligence, feasibility, and planning pathway assessments;
- Manage planning applications, including preparing Statements of Environmental Effects, reviewing Environmental Factors, and Environmental Impact Statements;
- Prepare planning proposals;
- Provide expert witness services to the private and public sectors in the NSW Land and Environment Court.
Your Qualifications and Skills
- Tertiary town planning qualifications and membership to the Planning Institute of Australia (PIA);
- A minimum of 7 years' experience in town planning in NSW with a consultancy, local council, or State government;
- Eligibility to become a Registered Environmental Assessment Practitioner (REAP);
- A good working knowledge of the EP&A Act and related legislation and the NSW planning system;
- An interest in building a client base and contributing to business development;
- Good time management skills and the ability to work within set deadlines;
- Complex project management and the ability to work on multiple projects concurrently;
- Mentoring junior planners;
- Working independently and in small teams;
- Creative problem-solving abilities;
- Good verbal and written communication skills;
- A current driver's license.
