**Town Planning Support Officer - NSW Government**

A Town Planning Support Officer is required by a NSW Government department on a contract until EOFY with likely ongoing extensions based in Parramatta + WFH (hybrid).
- **Location: Parramatta + WFH (hybrid)**:

- **Pay Rate: Up to $75 per hour + Super**:

- **Contract Length: Until EOFY with likely ongoing extensions**

**Primary Purpose of the Role**:
As the Town Planning Support Officer, you will be supporting the team's technical needs relating to high-profile projects within the Western & Metro West regions.

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Provide general support to the team responsible for implementing the planning framework
- Support the Assurance Panel Secretariat, including reviewing technical reports & providing advice to management
- Work collaboratively with State agencies, councils & other key stakeholders in implementing the planning framework
- Assist with project & contract management as well as editing & preparing reports

**About You**:

- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Master Planning and/or other greenfield development areas
- Working experience in the Town Planning discipline
- Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to provide high-level professional support across planning frameworks
- Outstanding communication & stakeholder engagement skills
