Corporate Governance Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Governance Lead to play a crucial role in ensuring the effective delivery of our department's performance and planning.

Main Responsibilities
  • Strategically lead the management of governance activities, providing comprehensive coordination between divisions, senior executives and stakeholders.
  • Provide expert advice on the establishment and deployment of contemporary performance systems and reporting frameworks in a large and complex organisation.
  • Proactively manage projects, programs of work and team members, driving collaboration and results-oriented working.
  • Oversee the analysis and preparation of timely, accurate and informative reporting on governance and risk matters, providing strategic insights to executives and committees.
  • Drive opportunities for continual improvement, achieving a contemporary operating environment with best practice approaches to risk management and governance.

In addition to these responsibilities, the successful candidate will be expected to build effective working relationships within the department, with central agencies and other departments, and professionally represent our interests.
