Job Title: Senior Governance Professional
This role presents an exciting opportunity to lead the coordination and operations of governance groups, overseeing justice system reform.
We are seeking a skilled professional with expertise in governance principles and policies, excellent communication and analytical skills, and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders and negotiate effectively.
Main Responsibilities:
- Prepare high-level strategic analysis and advice to support senior management in their decision-making processes.
- Lead the coordination and operations of governance groups responsible for overseeing justice system reform.
- Research and advise on contemporary policy and legislative frameworks based on evidence and best practice.
- Develop and maintain productive partnerships with stakeholders to ensure successful negotiation on implementation issues.
- Oversee the implementation of the work program, consistent with government commitments and directions.
Key Accountabilities:
- Support the Executive Director and Directors in representing the department in intergovernmental forums and negotiations.
- Undertake analysis specific to budget and policy initiatives at both Commonwealth and State levels.
