Key Roles and Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced professional to support our clients in the Australian carbon market. As a Senior Consultant, you will be part of a project team responsible for providing commercial advice to carbon project developers, covering identification of buyers, assessment of value and risks, and running competitive processes to buy or sell ACCUs.

Technical Skills

You should have strong project delivery and management skills, as well as excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Additionally, you should be able to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders and possess strong interpersonal skills.

Qualifications
  • 4-6 years' relevant experience in Australia's carbon sector, working with and for carbon project developers on project commercialisation, and/or Safeguards Mechanism entities and other buyers of ACCUs;
  • Strong knowledge of international carbon markets (especially Asian) is desired but not essential;
  • Experience in consulting/advisory is desired but not essential;
  • Team-oriented individual with a proactive mindset and a self-starter approach to work;
