Financial Operations Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced Financial Operations Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and forecasting cashflow, processing accounts payable and receivable, tracking and reporting commission payments, conducting trust account reconciliations, administering financial aspects of property contracts, maintaining clear and organised financial documentation and reporting, assisting with payroll preparation and other ad hoc finance duties as required.

About the Role

The Financial Operations Coordinator will play a key role in supporting the financial operations of our business. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with strong accounting skills and experience in financial administration to join a dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and forecast cashflow to support business and project stability.
  • Process accounts payable and receivable, including issuing and following up on invoices.
  • Track and report commission payments.
  • Conduct trust account reconciliations in line with compliance standards.
  • Administer financial aspects of property contracts, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
  • Maintain clear and organised financial documentation and reporting.
  • Assist with payroll preparation and other ad hoc finance duties as required.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 2–3 years' experience in accounting, accounts administration, or bookkeeping, ideally within property or real estate.
  • Proficiency in Xero, Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel), and CRM systems.
  • Strong understanding of accounts payable/receivable, cashflow forecasting, commission tracking, invoicing, and contract account administration.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and organisational skills.
  • High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and discretion.
