The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated professional joining our team for a six-month contract to deliver high-quality financial services.

About the Role

This dynamic role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development and implementation of efficient financial processes, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assisting with banking platform setup and transition across various regions.
  • Supporting administrative tasks, including new credit card issuance for eligible employees.
  • Collaborating with the Senior Finance Manager and finance team to enhance global AP/AR and expense coding processes.
  • Providing financial analysis support and contributing to special projects as needed.
  • Maintaining accurate ledgers and preparing high-quality month-end reconciliations with minimal outstanding items, including regular analysis to identify unusual transactions.
  • Ensuring correct additions/disposals are included in the right category and depreciation is accurately calculated in the Fixed Asset Registers.
  • Overseeing accounts payable to ensure timely payments and correct coding in the general ledger.
  • Contributing to the evaluation, improvement, and streamlining of accounting and reporting processes.
Requirements and Qualifications

To excel in this role, candidates should possess:

  • High levels of initiative, curiosity, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with AR and AP processes.
  • Background in banking and credit card system implementation.
  • Proficiency in using systems and tools to automate tasks (desired but not required).
  • Relevant undergraduate qualifications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel.
  • Effective time management and organizational abilities.
  • Good analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver projects on time.
  • Capacity to build strong relationships and work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Capacity to think creatively, contribute to debates, and communicate ideas effectively.
