About the Role

As an Automation Engineer, you will play a critical role in the delivery of our digital transformation initiatives.

You will be part of our IT team based in Sydney and work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and help translate them into practical solutions.

  • Participate in the full lifecycle of automation projects—from planning and testing to deployment and support.
  • Help streamline workflows and improve efficiency using modern tools and platforms.
  • Document processes and maintain clear records to ensure transparency and consistency.
  • Collaborate with team members and other departments to share knowledge and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.

This is a permanent, full-time opportunity with hybrid working arrangements available.

Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in automation development within a medium to large corporate environment.
  • Proven experience delivering automation solutions using Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power Bi, Copilot Agents) and Azure Logic Apps.
  • Familiarity with Boomi for automation across enterprise systems will be well regarded.
  • Demonstrated ability to discover, understand, and integrate with RESTful APIs, including navigating documentation and experimenting with endpoints.
  • Experienced in integrating across hybrid environments, including cloud platforms like Azure and Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and a range of on-premises enterprise systems.
  • Understanding of security best practices and how they apply to automation solutions, including data handling, access controls, and platform configuration.
  • Clear and confident communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders to understand their needs and contribute to practical automation solutions.
  • An interest in learning and growing professionally, with a willingness to explore new tools and approaches.
  • A proactive mindset that supports continuous improvement and contributes to team goals through thoughtful problem-solving.
