Job Description

As a Senior Compliance Manager, you will be responsible for developing, embedding, and maintaining compliance frameworks, policies, and plans across the business. You will closely work with first-line teams to ensure controls are appropriately developed to meet compliance obligations and mitigate relevant risks.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Having the ability to understand and assess operational and compliance issues inherent or emerging due to changing business needs.
  • Developing and leading compliance-themed oversight programs, including providing senior management with assurance through regular reviews.
  • Overseeing, monitoring, and reporting of compliance risks to senior management, committees, and regulators.
  • Assessing and reporting on incidents and potential breaches.

Desired Skills and Experience

We seek a candidate with at least 5 years' experience in the banking or financial services industry, in operational risk or compliance roles. You should have a working knowledge of Compliance and Operational Risk Management / Frameworks, demonstrated understanding of the regulatory regime, and experience working with Risk teams to ensure appropriate compliance controls are developed.
