
Senior Motor Claims Specialist

This is a key position for an experienced Claims Consultant to manage a portfolio of end-to-end motor claims for customers experiencing vulnerability and/or a traumatic claim event. The ideal candidate will have strong technical claim management knowledge, excellent customer service skills, and exceptional communication and conflict resolution abilities.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the entire process of complex, high-value motor claims from lodgement to settlement.
- Review each referred claim for acceptance in line with policy guidelines and industry regulations.
- Provide support to customers within policy entitlements and manage existing claims to ensure a seamless experience.
- Identify potential risks or compliance issues and escalate them to Management.
- Verify events, issue documentation, and establish rapport during claims processing.
- Underwrite claims accurately and determine cover.
- Apply duty of care considerations as part of decision-making.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to finalise claims.
- Essential: Motor Claims experience, Exceptional Customer Service experience, Demonstrated knowledge and application of technical claim management, Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills.
- Desirable: Experience in insurance, Broad ability to drive for results, focus on outcomes and well-developed negotiation skills.
