Commercial Housekeeper

Villa San Michele, a Mediterranean-style boutique apartment complex in Port Douglas, Queensland, is seeking a skilled Commercial Housekeeper to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean and maintain guest apartments, including bedrooms, living areas, kitchens, and bathrooms, to the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation.
  • Manage laundry services for guest rooms, ensuring timely completion of duties and adherence to scheduling and priorities set by management.
  • Ensure rooms are fully equipped with essentials, including towels, pillows, and kitchen supplies, and maintain stock in storage areas.
  • Clean and maintain poolside furniture, BBQ areas, and common areas such as the tropical gardens, pools, and lobby to ensure a welcoming and inviting environment for guests.
  • Coordinate with the front desk or guest services to meet specific guest needs, providing a personalized experience and ensuring guest satisfaction.
  • Use appropriate chemicals and cleaning agents for different surfaces to avoid damage or safety hazards.
  • Identify and report any maintenance issues to management for immediate action.

About You:

  • At least 1 year of experience as a Commercial Housekeeper or in a related role.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to handle multiple tasks and guest enquiries.

Job Type: Permanent/full-time

Salary: $73,000 - $80,000
