Improving Patient Care through Effective Systems

The Governance and Improvement work group focuses on delivering systems and processes that ensure consistent evidence-based best practices.
This role supports the Lead and Assistant Director in informing improvements to guarantee effective delivery development and evaluation of systems and processes supporting patient care.
The Governance and Improvement work group is one of three work groups within the Quality Unit alongside Safe Systems and Performance and Consumer Partnership and Experience. Together we collaborate to ensure provision of safe effective connected and personal care every day for every patient every time.
Key Responsibilities:- Demonstrates strong knowledge of internal external quality frameworks relevant standards and committee structures and functions
- Supports and promotes audit schedules conducting audits data analysis and reporting using infographics and other formats
- Assists clinical corporate teams with quality improvement activities and gap analyses
- Educates and supports staff in using electronic tools like RiskMan auditing platforms and SharePoint
- Facilitates practice improvement groups collaborating with staff and consumers to drive quality outcomes
Prepares reports and provides accreditation support or leadership as delegated
