Maintenance Professional Role Overview

The Maintenance Professional plays a pivotal role in delivering an exceptional resident experience by providing high-standard repairs, maintenance tasks, and ensuring compliance of building fabric and mechanical systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the Community team to maintain a high level of cleanliness throughout the community.
  • Effectively communicate with residents, clients, contractors, and colleagues to address maintenance issues.
  • Monitor and maintain the electronic maintenance reporting system, ensuring tasks are completed to a high standard and within suitable time scales.
  • Provide regular updates to residents regarding ongoing or delayed maintenance issues, promoting customer satisfaction.
  • Administer all property maintenance and records in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Deliver services within agreed resource parameters while maintaining a focus on efficiency.
  • Maintain adequate levels of spares, stock, and supplies, ensuring effective forward planning.
  • Determine and undertake repair and maintenance tasks to a high quality, including plumbing, joinery, and carpentry, painting/decorating, and lighting.
  • Respond to health and safety matters in an appropriate and timely manner.
