About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Nurse Consultant to join our team in Southern NSW Local Health District. The successful applicant will provide expert clinical input into the management, development and delivery of stroke services.

  • The ideal candidate will collaborate with senior stakeholders to implement project plans and work towards delivering sustainable healthcare solutions.
  • They will also support working within multidisciplinary teams, promote health and wellbeing benefits, and invest in employee development.

Key Requirements:

  • A current registration as a Registered Nurse with at least 5 years full time equivalent postgraduate experience.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of acute and rehabilitation stroke services principles.
  • Knowledge and understanding in applying research and evidence-based practice to the workplace.
  • High level interpersonal and communication skills with ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
  • Proven project management skills, clinical leadership capabilities and ability to provide clinical advice.
