Advanced Oncology Nurse Specialist

This is a pivotal role in cancer care, requiring a skilled and compassionate nurse to coordinate timely, holistic, and person-centred care for patients and their families.
Role Responsibilities:- Provide advanced practice specialist nursing care at an elevated level for the designated specialty.
- Coordinate services to bridge the gap between hospital and community care delivery.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve quality care outcomes.
- Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
- Relevant post-registration qualifications in Oncology or Haematology with a minimum of three years' experience working in the clinical specialty.
- Demonstrated expertise in and knowledge of the complexities involved in providing Oncology or Haematology nursing care.
- Ability to exercise autonomy in clinical decision making and leadership in developing nursing specialty practice advancement.
- Evidence of professional development participation and commitment to maintaining competence in Cancer Care.
- Competencies in cannulation, CVADs management, telehealth capability, assessment, and cancer care coordination.
- A valid driver's licence and ability to drive/travel as required.
