Job Role and Responsibilities

Aristocrat Technologies Australia P/L is seeking a talented Software Development Professional to join our Technology Group. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for the development and maintenance of tools that streamline the content creation process for our gaming platforms and Game Development Kits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the development of software tools within a collaborative team environment.
  • Apply software engineering best practices and adhere to company coding standards.
  • Gain expertise in game content creation workflows to improve tools for artists and engineers.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
  • Adapt to changing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced game development environment.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 0-1 year of experience in writing C++ and/or C# code with a solid grasp of modern OOP methodologies.
  • Knowledge of any scripting language, preferably Python or Javascript.
  • Experience using Adobe products is a plus; plugin development or automation is a bonus.
  • Knowledge of software engineering best practices.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to adapt to shifting priorities.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
